Do You Want to Help the Homeless But Aren’t Sure How?

Let us make it easy for you.

We’ve done the research. We’ve looked into the many Portland groups working to provide aid to the homeless. We’ve gone into discount stores and looked at prices for the toiletries the homeless need when they are out on the streets.

We’ve selected the Union Gospel Mission (UGM) to work with because so many of their staff are formerly homeless themselves. UGM folks are on the streets every night handing out supplies and talking. The group also has a residential training program for the homeless which aims to address issues of addiction.

Our service goal this year is to put together UGM Hygiene Kits. We’ve determined that we get the best bang for our bucks if we order items in bulk with free shipping on Amazon Prime. We stuff the bags and deliver them to the UGM downtown.

Please join us. Even a small donation helps! Please know that 100% of your donations go towards supplies. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax-deductible.
